My First EVER Blog!

As many who know me well know that I have been a stay at home mom since summer of 2007. In these past 3 years I have provided childcare in my own home and in March 2010 I started an evening part-time job. In these past three years I have been soul searching and trying to figure out what I want to do in my life and what my passion is.

About 6 months ago I was interested in pursuing photography, but was scared, intimidated and put the idea out of my head and onto the back burner. Since my dayhome closed in July I have been doing more soul searching and my passion for taking photos and capturing 'the moment' was sparked once again. This time I am not as scared or as intimidated and I am super excited to learn and experience this beautiful art.

I don't have high expectations as I know it takes time, patience and A LOT of practice to become a photographer. But I do have high hopes, dreams and enthusiasm with where this could lead.

I will be posting pictures as I begin my journey and I appreciate any and all comments, good or bad! This is how I learn best!

Thank you everyone for supporting me, I am excited to see where this journey will take me :)

Jen

  1. I love the way you write (which will help bring people to this blog, I'm sure). I'm very excited to see how things go and how you progress. Even just over a year I noticed a HUGE improvement in my photography skills and that was without any courses! Best of luck and I look forward to coming back and reading your blog as you go!

  2. You always manage to see and capture just the right moment. Some of my favorite photos of my own daughter have been taken by you.
Take and deep breath and keep your eyes open; this will be and exciting journey and I can't wait to join you!
